    For patients with voice change, hoarseness, or professional voice concerns Mr Cosway sees patients at the Freeman Hospital.

    Here, he is able to provide the most comprehensive first-line assessment for diagnosing voice problems.

    Each assessment includes:

  • Nuffield Hospital, Newcastle - All other ENT problems

    For patients with general ENT problems including general ear, nose and throat issues as well as and specialist throat, neck and thyroid problems, Mr Cosway sees patients at the the Nuffield Hospitals, Newcastle.

    Each assessment Includes:

    🩺 Specialist new patient consultation

    👤  Procedures such as fibre optic nasendoscopy, ear microsuction, screening air conduction pure tone audiometry and tympanometry.

    📄 Diagnosis and personalised management plan.

  • New patient consultation — £250

    A full specialist assessment, review of symptoms, and discussion of diagnosis and treatment options.

  • Follow-up consultation — £200

    Review of progress, refinement of diagnosis, and adjustment of treatment plan.

  • Flexible videoendoscopy — £100

    🔍 High-definition assessment of the throat and voice box.

    There is an additional £100 fee for high definition nasendoscopy at the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle.

    Hospital charges at the Freeman and the Nuffield vary between £170 and £320.

  • Videostroboscopy — £130

    🎤 Advanced vocal cord vibration analysis, essential for diagnosing subtle voice disorders.

    There is an additional £130 fee for high definition nasendoscopy at the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle.

    Hospital charges at the Freeman and the Nuffield vary between £170 and £320.

🏥 Hospital Facility Fees

Please note that both The Freeman Hospital and the Nuffield, Newcastle will charge an additional fee for any procedures that are performed in the clinic. These include, but are not limited to, nasendoscopy, ear microsuction and screening hearing assessments.

 

  • Any further procedures or treatments required are charged separately.
    These will always be confirmed by the hospital either before or after your appointment, depending on when they are performed.

  • 📄 Recognised by all major UK health insurers.
    🗂️ Self-pay patients may book directly without a GP referral.

  • 💳 Payment for appointments at the Freeman Hospital are taken securely prior to your appointment by Newcastle Hospitals.

    💳 Consultation fees for appointments at the Nuffield are taken prior to your appointment at the Nuffield Hospital by my medical secretary. Procedure fees are paid to the Nuffield Hospital once the consultation is completed.
